Almost every morning I stroll over to Rose Park Roasters and get an espresso to start my day. This old chair has been just outside the door for a few days now, and this morning the light was hitting it just right.

Got some beans from Central America roasted by the folks at Coava up in Portland. Gonna be some fantastic coffee sessions here at home.

Vacant
I was out wandering around looking for interesting opportunities yesterday morning as the sky was again crazy with dark clouds, but the sun was going in and out from behind them, so the light was odd. And it finally rained a little bit during the night. On Sunday mornings there are usually plenty of people sitting on this patio eating breakfast here at this cafe. Just a couple weeks ago this place threw a rather large 10th anniversary blast, and then immediately closed. I just saw last night that a pet store is perhaps going to take over this spot. I vote no, but that probably won't make any difference.
The situation made for a cool photo, though.
