Ever wonder what wetlands would look like if it were combined into an oil field? Wonder no more.
Protected by the oil company. And none too wet.

This was a good coffee at a nice spot in DTLB - Cafe Cabinet.
I was in DTLB, and I was about to get into my car and drive home. I looked over, I saw some fantastic looking purple flowers, and I thought I’d grab a quick photo since the colors struck me. However, when I started working on the edit, the sky became the star of the show, so I focused my attention on that. Dig.
We’re still locked out.
More padlocks
On this eve a while back I was chasing the sunset a bit, but I didn’t want to wander too far from home, so I ended up at Bluff Park (again). I really thought it was a bust, but I just found this photo which I was able to turn into something a little worthwhile. Hope you dig it.
A while back I got on some sort of thing about getting some shots of padlocks. Don’t know why. I envisioned some sort of project, but I never saw it through for whatever reason. At least not yet. So, I guess I will bleed out some of the photos here.
I was simply scouting this location for a decent sunset shot, and this happened. It has been the norm this spring and summer when I've been simply scouting that I've lucked into some good conditions, and fortunately I was able to photograph it.
I was hanging out by the marine stadium the other night shooting in the other direction trying to garner a decent sunset capture, and I saw this composition shaping up for a decent attempt at a long exposure. So, I waited for it darken a bit before I shot it. Turned out fairly decent.
