On this eve a while back I was chasing the sunset a bit, but I didn’t want to wander too far from home, so I ended up at Bluff Park (again). I really thought it was a bust, but I just found this photo which I was able to turn into something a little worthwhile. Hope you dig it.

In the City
DTLB. Again. Sunday morn. Again.
I spotted this old archway with a garage door closing off this alleyway almost directly acrosss this colorfully painted crosswalk.

Ho Ho Ho
Yeah, I know it's May, but I shot this in DTLB early the morning of 25DEC. It was still the golden hour, but the light was funky that morning. And downtown was empty, so it was cool wandering around shooting. For me, anyway. I prefer to capture scenes devoid of people.
Hi Hat

DTLB Alley Once Again. Once Again.
Same alley. Don't know what it is about that alley. I'm just off the alley this time, actually. By a dumpster. At least I have not resorted to dumpster diving. Yet.
Turtle Reflection
This is hidden behind one of the newer buildings in DTLB. The fountain wasn't working the other day when I encountered this, but it was pretty windy, so I had to expose long enough to get the smooth water. The stone turtle sculptures and the way the buildings were reflecting off the water made me stop.
Found a Different Alley
I was creeping around a different alley in DTLB:
