Big Sur Print

Today I sold this wood print of an image I shot in Big Sur. I got it printed at Woodsnap in Irvine. It turned out great (sorry for the lack of sharpness in this quickie pic--didn't have time to set up a good shot). The wood grain added some real texture to this one, making it certainly a one of a kind piece. I love doing stuff like this. Hit me up.

Thanks again, Larry!

Orig shot of the Big Sur coast. No more prints of this one. This was a single edition.

He also picked up this one today. Another wood print. This is a blue hour shot I got while sitting on the sand by the jetty that splits Long Beach and Seal Beach at the coast.

Galaxy Alley

This is an older shot I just found. I'm standing in the alley behind The Galaxy Tower, closeby where I live here in Long Beach. I remember shooting this around golden hour, and I'm on the backside of the building, but the light was just right to capture the mood, catch a wee bit of shadow, and get a reflection. I've been doing quite a lot lately with deep, very saturated blue skies, and a load of contrast, but I really dig this one.

Rare Clouds in LB

I went out around midday yesterday, and I took my camera with me--just in case. And there was nothing interesting. But just before I hopped into my little Kia to head back home, I stood in the middle of the street to capture this scene. I like the vanishing point perspective, and we've been experiencing some "winter" weather here in SoCal, so there have been some interesting cloud formations around the past few days. This turned out to be one of those times. I am really digging how this piece turned out. Hope you do, too.
